Tidbits from a Professional Skills Workshop for WomenNovember 4, 2016 In this short seminar I will review some of the key points presented at a recent Professional Skills Development Workshop for Women Physicists, a day-long workshop sponsored by the American Physical Society. Much of the original workshop's content is broadly applicable, and includes important pointers for effective communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. The workshop was incredibly eye-opening and an excellent learning experience, and I hope to pass along at least a few helpful tips to those who are interested! |
