September 9th
Travel from Airport/ to Hotel
Since you’re all arriving at such different times, we won’t schedule a shuttle from DCA or Union Station to the hotel. Instead, please follow these guidelines:
- If you are arriving into DC before 4pm, please take the metro to the hotel (directions here: http://www.cambriadc.com/local-area/airport-transportation.htm)
- If you arrive in DC after 4pm, please take a cab to the hotel so that you can check in, and get to the reception at the Blackburn Center for the 6pm start time
- If you’re arriving too late to attend the reception – we’ll miss you! – and please take a cab to the hotel

Shuttle to DCA
We have scheduled, and prepaid (including tip), a shuttle to take you to DCA from Howard on Sunday afternoon, Sep. 11th. The shuttle will pick you up between 12:45pm and 1:00pm, at the 6th Street gate at Howard. Please be there by 12:30pm in case the shuttle is early.

Reimbursements (NAC IV Students only)
- Two nights (9/9 and 9/10) at the Cambria Suites Hotel in Washington, DC. Students should plan to share a room.
- Continental breakfast (Saturday and Sunday), breaks, lunch on Saturday
- A Saturday evening NAC Student Cohort group activity
- If you are flying into DCA, we will either prepay, and forward to you, a shuttle reservation from the airport to the hotel, or will ask you to take the metro. We will try to organize several shuttles from Howard to the airport on Sunday. Depending upon your departure time, you may have a wait at the airport.
- If for some reason you purchased your own flight tickets, we will reimburse non-reimbursable, coach class airfare purchased at least two weeks before travel.
