Children's Holiday Workshop 2017
Join us for an NRAO Children's Holiday Workshop on Wednesday, December 20th from 10:00 am to 12:00pm am at Edgemont Road.
Activities will be for all children (or kids at heart) under the age of 10. Among the activities this year will be:
- Decorate your own holiday cookies or cupcakes
- Make a homemade snowflake
- Watch some of the holiday favorites such as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and Elf. All movies start at 10 with Rudolph.
- Children’s “Gift Avenue” – all kids under 10 can “shop” at the CV Rec Gift Avenue for gifts for their family members. Elves will be on-site to assist in picking out the gifts and gift wrapping.
- Snacks and drinks will be served throughout and a pizza lunch will be served starting at 11:30.
- Attending children that RSVP'd will receive a special gift.
The event is open to everyone especially for movies and snacks. Volunteers are also very much appreciated to help with the set-up and tear-down, help with the pastry decorating and with gift avenue.
