NRAO's Broader Impact Efforts
The NRAO takes seriously its financial, social, and scientific obligations to extend the impact of our work to the broader local, national, and international community. The NRAO's mission offers many opportunities to share our work with others, specifically through our world-leading telescopes, instrumentation, and expertise; by training the next generation of scientists and engineers, and by promoting astronomy to foster a more scientifically literate society.
Our many Broader Impact (BI) projects and programs are intentionally designed to work together to meet a coherent, sustainable set of BI goals.
